The US Navy Aerospace Experimental Psychology Society (USNAEPS) exists to promote the role of Aerospace Experimental Psychology and the field of Aviation Psychology throughout the Department of Defense, and recognize their contributions to supporting the Warfighter. USNAEPS has been granted tax-exempt status by the IRS, and is organized with its own Constitution and By-Laws and elects its own officers.

CAPT Michael G. Lilienthal Award for Leadership

Given in recognition of an individual who has significantly advanced the field of Aerospace Experimental Psychology through excellence in leadership over the previous year.

CDR Robert S. Kennedy Award for Excellence in Aviation Research

Given in recognition of an individual who has made significant and outstanding contributions to the field of Aerospace Psychology through original research over the past year.

CAPT Paul R. Chatelier Award for Lifetime Achievement

Given in recognition of an individual who has significantly and uniquely shaped the field of Aerospace Experimental Psychology through scientific, analytic, managerial, and leadership excellence over the course of his or her career.
